About the Thawte Web of Trust
The Thawte Web of Trust is a worldwide trust network. People with a free Thawte digital certificate, can have their identity asserted by Web of Trust Notaries who can assign up to 35 points. When you have 50 or more points, you can add your name to your digital certificate. When you have gathered 100 points, you have become a Web of Trust Notary yourself, and can assert otther people's identities.
As a Thawte Web of Trust Notary, I can assert your identity, and assign up to 35 points to your Web of Trust status. If you would like to arrange for a meeting for identity assertion, please contact me either by mailing to notary@blackbit.net, either by filling in the form below, or by calling me. You can find my telephone numbers in the Notary directory on the Web of Trust website.
I charge 5 EUR per assertion, except if you are a student (and you can prove it) then the assertion is free. In order for the assertion to succeed you need to appear to me in person, and you need to bring 2 foto-copies of 2 legal documents that prove your identity, for example:

• your national identity card,
• your driving permit,
• your SIS (social security) card.

(The photo-copies must display all sides of the documents.)
