Free web hosting!
Since january 2000, I've been offering free web hosting to non-profit organizations (vzw's in Belgium) and open source projects. If you are a member of such an organization, an wish to publish a website, you can contact me by mail for more information at info@blackbit.net .
Requirements
- The site owner will be a non-profit organization or open-source project,
- The site will not contain any pornographic, illegal or otherwise unethical information,
- The site owner accepts all liability for possible illegal content on the site,
- The site MAY contain political or religious content, as long as this content is respectful to the beliefs and opinions of all possible visitors,
- The site will offer a link to the blackbit.net site,
- The site will host one (small) advertisement banner at the bottom of each page.
Specifications
- Site hosting on a FAST quad-core server with plenty of memory and bandwidth,
- 250MB of disk space,
- Availability of scripting (PHP) makes it possible to use a CMS,
- FTP access to the site's root folder,
- Either a url like hosting.blackbit.net/<anything>, a subdomain like <anything>.blackbit.net or a mapped domain name (which you own).
